It’s National Spaghetti Day, no better way to celebrate than by serving up a bowl of Spicy Bucatini Amatriciana for dinner tonight!

This pasta is spicy, but remember, you’re in control of how spicy you want it to be. And I couldn’t get my hands on calabrian chile paste so I used a chili pepper paste & it definitely brought the heat!

As always with a pasta dish, we had plenty of leftovers. I decided to ‘zhuzh’ my plate up a bit & I’ve made the ‘zhuzh’ a permanent edit to my version of the recipe.

First, I added a little extra spaghetti sauce. The original recipe says to simply coat the noodles, I simply wanted more. We split a ball of burrata cheese to add more of a creamy texture & topped it off with some fresh basil. Deliziosa!
