We’ve got a new crowd pleaser, myself included, in my household.
I’ve always been intimidated to cook a Shepherd’s Pie. If you think about it, it’s two completely different dishes in one. A flavorful meat filling, full of carrots, onions, garlic & peas. All seasoned & simmering together in a sauce of red wine & broth.
Then there’s the mashed potato topping. I could write a thousand love songs about potatoes…
And we devoured it.
